Alliance Building - Partner with organizations and agencies for synergy and greater impact

FTI is intentionally partnering with other institutions in order to strengthen its capacity to extend livelihood support to people with disability. It was the convenor of the Multi-Stakeholder's Conference on the Social and Economic Development of Persons with Disability in 2011 that led to the creation of the "PWEDE" group. PWEDE is composed of various institutions concerned with the disability sector most specially livelihood and social development of PWDs. Its purpose is to promote disability concerns and mobilize support for the livelihood of PWDs.

FTI is a member of Association of Foundation; and is the PWD thematic cluster. It is also a member of the Workability International Asia(WAS), an Asian Regional platform for PWD organizations sharing best practices in providing employment to people with disability.

FTI is also a partner of the Cristoffel Blinden Mission(CBM), Germany which provided support to the projects of FTI. FTI was also able to partner with the International Labor Organization(ILO) in its cash for work program for the road construction for the shelter community of PWDs in Cagayan De Oro.

FTI also regularly sits as a member in the Livelihood and Employment Cluster of the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA), a government agency in charge with monitoring the implementation of laws and policies passed by the government for PWDs.

The foundation is also a member of the Philippine Council of Cheschire Homes for the Disabled Inc. (PHILCOCHED), umbrella of PWD organizations and homes for disabled founded by Sr. Valeriana Baerts.
